Even though if the unemployment rate gets too low the Reserve Bank will step in to raise interest rates.
Even though the media, led by Murdoch, will scream to cut government spending if unemployment gets too high.
Even though industry groups will scream about skills shortages if there are more jobs than workers in even one profession.
Even though the government will issue more skilled visas if there are more jobs than workers in even one profession.
The unemployed worker gets blamed, even with everything I've mentioned above.
