@umbrella@lemmy.ml @doleo@lemmy.one ad blockers are working fine, the thing that shits me about youtube is that quite often they can’t manage a video stream over fhd without stalling every 30s.
Also, the new embedded player layout is baaad. The “gear” settings is top right but the menu pops up bottom center. Who came up with that, that’s a lot of mouse distance on a 4k screen.

have you tried updating your filters? google breaks it sometimes, and updating them fixes it most of the time. if it doesn’t, yeah there are great alternatives like freetube of invidious!
