it sounds stupid but if you're in tech, on fedi and you didn't get hired yet you probably aren't getting that tech job because you refuse (or otherwise fail to) to participate in the bullshit buzzword bingo sales / overstating your abilities bit of interviewing. not because you're not good at tech. the average engineer i know is very bad at tech and either lost their passion years ago or was in it for the money to begin with. i once got rejected at Hetzner because i didn't lie about having used openapi specs outside of k8s CRDs. lmao.
