    @belehaa@wandering.shop Thanks for the article. The sheer volume of waste is remarkable. Then they ran out of places to dump it. There are several probably "forever" sites in this area...Weldon Springs, Bridgeton ("Westlake") landfill and along Coldwater creek.     @belehaa@wandering.shop Also Dawn Chapman is a local saint. https://justmomsstl.org/ I can't tell you how many times in my life I would explain to someone from outside the midwest how Nuclear material was refined in St. Louis (and dumped) only to be met with complete disbelief. I think the truth is known now...but not as widely as you would think.
