It's science by non-sequitur: you can't predict athletic performance by appearance, therefore trans-women are women . . . they feel like if they say this enough times, then it must be true.
It's like when someone tweeted "Transwomen are women, Transwomen are women, Transwomen are Women" and someone, I think either Riley or JK, tweeted back "Hot Dogs are Dogs, Hot Dogs are Dogs, Hot Dogs are Dogs"
