@brian@awesome.garden @elb@social.sdf.org Ah, very nice! Looking at the schematic, the lamp is before the transformer, so that still working rules out basically nothing other than the switch. 😅 Some other observations:
The audio side and transport motor are practically independent circuits. They even each have their own rectifiers. So if you can get anything out of the sound (by, I dunno, running the film manually?), that would imply that the problem is in the motor circuitry. If you're getting nothing but the lamp, the only other common component is the transformer, so that would suggest it's bad.
The motor circuitry is pretty simple, just a linear current regulator adjustable with switches. So if something has blown up due to overcurrent, it's almost certainly Q1.

@brian@awesome.garden @elb@social.sdf.org Ah I have just now noticed there are two different models, and I was looking at the 2000S. No big difference to my analysis from before, but the 3000S has Aux/Mic jacks (because it can record audio!), which means you should be able to test the audio side without needing to run film.
