@sustainrelease@mastodon.social I keep the original cable clips in the bag (top) and wrap and twist one or two around the over under folded cable before putting the neat cable package away in one of the boxes for storage. But I also have velcro straps like @skaverat mentions for longer xlr cables.

That's an excellent strategy @ljo@mastodon.social . I remember having re-used a lot of cable clips in the past, and I think I even used to save many of them in my tool box (of course, I never go looking for them then). But keeping them attached to the original cable sounds like a really good idea. I will try to adapt to that.
