What the hell happened to this guy? I read all his books up to The God Delusion, and they were all coherent and well argued. Then something seemed to happen to him after he wrote that and now he's basically JK Rowling without the boy wizard.

@CrypticMirror@mstdn.social I think the brittleness has always been there. 20 years ago he did a documentary where he clearly did not have the final edit, and you can see it there.
