So somehow, entirely outside of my control, I became the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Ok, maybe I had a moment of boredom and exerted the tiniest bit of control towards something futile, but honestly I should not be trusted to do things! Anyway, while I wasn't surprised to learn that it had an AI assistant installed, I did find the FOUR assistants I had to either uninstall or disable depending on how deeply it was baked into the system, a bit excessive. Bixby - Samsung AI, disabled Gemini - Google AI, disabled Copilot - Microsoft AI, uninstalled Perplexity - uh, its own thing? Uninstalled I'm now wondering if I have another rogue AI on the phone that I didn't notice...
