#ScribesAndMakers May 7 – When did you think of the idea for your current project? Do you remember how it came about? Like most Koreans versed in history I've known about Queen Soseono for most of my life, but around the late noughties I got very curious to find out more about the life of this figure from 2,000 years ago aside from the very brief mentions of her in the recorded history. I found there really wasn't much else, and then I looked for fiction which I also found lacking as a serious look at what her life and times might have been like. So I decided to write my own as #historicalFiction since non-fiction had clear limits to what could be done with sparse information. I've been at it a while now lol.
