@ljwrites@writeout.ink I love everything about this. (Including the fact that I would make different aesthetic choices!) Shaping your own User Experience is something that—in a perfect world—should be available to every User.

@jameshowell@fediscience.org Heh absolutely, I originally got the show-through Emacs client idea from a YouTuber (System Crafters) who has a completely different aesthetic with dark cinematic backdrops, which I ran with for a totally different look. A sign of user experience-enhancing tech is that the results become widely divergent to reflect user individuality rather than encouraging uniformity, I think.
