anyone got book recommendations? preferably fiction (not necessarily, but i think i&#39;ve managed to finish one non-fiction in my life lol) and about women (very much bored of male centered media). for reference, the last book series i really devoured was the locked tomb.

@critakitty@wetdry.world if you dont mind some kind of out there sci-fi Alliete De Bodard's Xuya universe books might be worth a look in? Red scholar's wake and A Fire Born in exile were really fun reads. Big emphasis around technology blurring the lines with magic and Eastern style court intrigues. A fire born in exile was originally sold to me as being Vietnamese sapphic count of monte cristo in space. Didn't disappoint ^_^

@critakitty@wetdry.world Between Earth and Sky trilogy by Rebecca Roanhorse (first book is Black Sun) Radiance by Catherynne Valente Black Water Sister by Zen Cho Magic for Liars by Sarah Gailey (I can only recommend SFF because it's about all I read)

@critakitty@wetdry.world Les Forces de Laura Vazquez (oui c'est le seul que j'ai lu cette année et ?) c'est surtout du monologue interne de lesbienne qui essaye de cerner le monde extérieur (c'est un roman en prose écrit par une poétesse et ça se sent)
