@Willow@chaosfem.tw not perimenopausal, but i do have an experience to share for others who may be interested
started in 2020 at 50mg/wk, and that was good for four years (both prescribed and DIY). took about two months for my menstrual cycle to stop, and i never had an issue with any random bleeding/spotting in that time (aside from missed doses)
i went off for a year due to financial/personal issues, and when i went back on my previous dose, i found that my period was basically the same as before. stopped again for a while, because i got frustrated at that and kinda gave up.
2-3 months ago, i realized that the mental benefits were the most important to me (it helps stabilize/regulate my emotions, though it is not a silver bullet), so i increased the dosage to 75mg/wk and got serious with maintaining it. fingers crossed this does the trick with the menstrual issue 😅
