But as a word not an acronym daft means not very bright. A not very intelligent person is daft. Or a suggestion could be daft..
In any event, it’s a somewhat unfortunate acronym

@peterbrown@mastodon.scot Thank you for elaborating. That is indeed a badly chosen acronym. They should have done better back in 1956. I would have opted for Friendship treaty between United states and the Netherlands, and used the acronym FUN. @Bellissiamo@mstdn.social @GayDeceiver@mstdn.social @kralcttam@mastodon.social
