I am immediately suspicious of educational "tools" that claim to help by getting in between my students and me
My students and their learning aren't nuisances nor are they widgets. I do not need a dashboard. The friction is the work
Grading is a problem not because it lacks sufficient "time-saving" automation but because it lacks sufficient humanity

@belehaa@wandering.shop …and a big part of the problem (which generates “helpful solutions!™”) are assumptions that vastly overestimate the number of people for whom one teacher can effectively encourage / develop / assess careful, critical thinking.
