"After designing Myst, we tried to explain the game as best we could in this short document in order to make the pitch to potential investors."

@mdm@mcnamarii.town @flamecat@bark.lgbt @vga256@mastodon.tomodori.net I remember playing Myst for the first time and already being suspicious of both brothers after collecting only one or two pages of each prison book. I got stuck on the underground maze and didn't finish the game until years and years later by which time I'd been spoiled on the twist — but when I heard about it I was like, ha, I thought that was where the writers were going.
