@feditips@mstdn.social @philwaring@mastodon.lol - hopefully the rules will evolve as the population scales. The Fediverse seems well designed to support the broad consensus against abusive content, and to support communities that want quiet spaces that keep out unwelcome topics as well as other communities that encourage moderated, fact-based discussion of politics that directly impacts their rights, livelihoods, and even lives - without UI friction.
