@yurisizov@mastodon.gamedev.place Yeah, I think that's the most exciting news out of the announcement today.
Sounds like it makes for a pretty significant performance hit (10-20%) but hopefully they'll be able to improve that over time.

@Thad@brontosin.space But on the flip side, Proton is often faster than native Windows, so maybe compared to that it's not going to be that significant. We can trust that they'll at least put similar effort into improving it, I think.
