@yurisizov@mastodon.gamedev.place I've looked into it more since I made that comment and I'll admit that I was wrong. With the context I now have, it's clear to me that DF were gassing a technology that they instead should have given much more scrutiny.

It seems that DF themselves have somewhat walked back their tone from the video and the article, and the team is split in opinions and concerns. I'm sorry if my own response was too harsh. This crap makes me very upset and angry, and I do not feel there is a lot of space for the middle ground anymore.
