@ozamidas@mastodon.social I’m pretty sure it’s their own tech. DLSS has always been ML based. They are just moving it past image reconstruction. It’s not a model swap, more like a faceapp kind of effect. Though Nvidia is capable of replacing models at runtime too, that’s what RTX Remix does.

Theres like 20 companies doing that and openAI has no special sauce. Of course, DLSS5 makes all of this feel like AI slop BECAUSE IT IS and removes the artistic vision
