@mroach@ublog.mroach.com that's not even a use case I considered! My main motivation is the fact that on more than one occasion I've bought the same SNES game because I was at a swap meet and couldn't remember if I had it or not
a key choice I've made from the get go is to have flexible types of trackable items, so any user can define an item type, with the attributes they want, and make a collection out of it
it's going to be both really awesome and probably terrible too. I can't wait to get something out

@mixdup@mastodon.social Ohhh ok I totally understand that then! I’ve got some account for tracking my retro video games and another for tracking my CDs and records. Neither have good apps. The video game one especially hits home. I’ve bought dupes…
