@mroach@ublog.mroach.com yeah, I actually kind of love it for building things. I've already been using it extensively for quick little scripts to bash up a report or migration I need to do at work. Now I'm breaking off a web app + eventually iOS app as a side project
On the other hand everything I get from my boss or another exec, or a rep at a vendor or anyone else is the output they got from Copilot when they dumped in a one-liner related to what we're working on together, and I hate hate HATE that usage

@mixdup@mastodon.social I hear that. I’m getting AI-generated code put in front of me with “how’s this?” as if it’s helping. Or worse, being asked to fix or adapt AI-generated code. It’s got me genuinely thinking about working in a stable mucking stalls or something where I can get away from this shit and let everyone else generate absolute slop and security nightmares.
