I'm genuinely considering submitting a FOI request for the Government of Ontario Central Forms Repository about software procurement contracts. It's absolutely possible to create PDFs which are backwards compatible and interoperable. So why does the government explain how to work with Adobe's monopoly on their website instead of enforcing accessibility? It's been like this for years now. I'm genuinely curious, is there a rider in the contract about using newer DRM'd file formats? #ONPoli
