I suggest asking, "Am I saying too much?"
If she says, "No" then go on.
A desire to overexplain is common for teachers, ADHDers etc. Mansplaining is pretentious, but not usually deadly.
A problem with mansplainers is they hog the conversation violating the give and take rules of a conversation. Usually there is no re-entering the conversation once the lecture has begun.
Back in the day women were actuallly taught to encourage mansplaining to make the guy feel good.
