@MartinEscardo@mathstodon.xyz I once read somewhere that someone prolific in CompSci/programming (probably someone at Bell Labs, but I can't be sure really) once said something to the effect of: "If I have too many emails, like if I've been away from work for a while, or low-priority stuff has just aged by months, then I just delete them all. If a message was really important, the sender will contact me again."
