@a@fedi.lawngno.me also a lot of programmers are going to learn the reason that you need to actually encode the IANA zone name and NOT just an offset and infer DST _all at once_

@glyph@mastodon.social Yeah; regardless of anyone's feelings on waves hands at everything, practically there's still a lot of cross-border west coast business integration. Interesting is a good word.
