@kyle@mastodon.kylerank.in Easy repairs. Very few moving parts. I don't understand why Bennett typewriters didn't catch on. The Selectric is what most people think about when anyone mentions "typewriters." Bennett was decades ahead of IBM.

@apples_and_pears@mastodon.world I will say that the keyboard layout is pretty rough. I'm sure it was okay for hunt-and-peck typists, but for a touch typist the layout would be difficult.
