@wendigo@metalhead.club Snapper is initially daunting, to use as it is only a system partition backup tool...It has saved my bacon more than once, let me use my system to fix a problem caused by either myself or a bad update. ROFL I like that it takes little snapshots before a change is made, and after a change is made. So a user can see all the changes that were made in each snapshot and figure out what might have went wrong (if something did). If I ever need to troubleshoot, I'll keep Kernel updates as a potential cause as well!

    @WanderingInDigitalWorlds@sunny.garden The real downside to the Arch rolling distro is that I think they are much too cavalier about pushing kernel updates. In this case, it wasn't an incremental change, it was a whole new version. As far as Snapper goes, I just need to do a little reading and wrap my head around it. It is useful as hell, but I still haven't quite got the hang of it. Cheers, buddy!
