@cuducos@tech.lgbt I asked Copilot to refactor a large bash script, moving functions to several small auxiliary scripts, similar to a couple I had written before. Some scripts were created, but were not called anymore. But the worst is that the code was not copied to the new files. Oh no. It was rewritten, full of lost variables, changing completely the way the original code worked, eliminated crucial lines needed for the code to actually work. You can not ask code not to be changed. It reminded me of the The Rock photo that was passed through several iterations of a image LLM, telling it to not change anything. I really need a MCP with basic refactoring abilities.
