okay I totally understand government mistrust now, when for whatever reason the government isn't set up to be run by smart kind people and is instead made up of opportunistic grifters and it's those opportunistic grifters who would then need to voluntarily change it to be run by smart kind people I've had my eye on anarchism but haven't had the spoons to look much into it but I think I'm coming around; if there isn't a compelling reason for someone to be in charge then there shouldn't be somebody in charge and I don't know of this is part of it but imo the primary goal of someone being put in charge of something is to find the best way to not need somebody in charge of that anymore
