@nicoco@pouet.pas.la sure, no problem! I would be super happy to try postmarketOS or some other Linux-based thing, but not really possible on my main hhone I think. The previous one I had chosen a model compatible with Sailfish but in the end I left it with its stock firmware , and never bothered to reinstll it with LineageOS when that became well supported. So I learnt to check for support before getting the phone this time!

@nicoco@pouet.pas.la I also considered just continuing to use my rescue phone (a Galaxy A3 2016), but battery life is not great, screen brightness is too low indirect sunlight, no fingerprint reader, ... Missing just a little bit too many things I got used to. And keeping an extra rescue phone just in case is a good idea and I don't have any other reasonable (read: 4G compatible) one
