@nicoco@pouet.pas.la since I had to buy something, I picked one that is officially supported by LineageOS. I already run unofficial/old unmaintained versions of it on various other devices (tablet, the backup phone I use now and that I keep for cases like this where my main phone is broken), and it works fine for my needs.
Not going to experiment with stranger stuff because I already do that with Haiku on my computers. So my phone is my only "mostly normal" device...

@pulkomandy@mastodon.tetaneutral.net this wasn't advice to buy, sorry for the misunderstanding. More like "hey I also run a phone considered 'old' which is a supercomputer compared to my beloved departed Atari 1040 ST". ;-)
