That doesn’t seem like an awful idea, but what about targeting the folks who are like “ah yeah that’s the 4532 from boston” when a plane goes past overhead

The same reason foamers often don't make it on the railroad. They cause safety issues getting distracted by the cool trains, and they become disillusioned seeing the reality of their obsession.

There are like 15x the number of people who would want to do the logistics for train systems and would kick ass at it than there are jobs for that career. Solution: narrow gauge rails -everywhere-.
