I believe, seeing that tweet, that a white male likely read it and judged that because it referred to race that it went against server content rules. Saying the same thing but flipping white to black would have been false and incendiary. Mastodon was created as a safe place to avoid harassment and anger and hate. It was also created by a bunch of white guys. This is a teachable moment to all.
