I know this is not the most popular opinion here, but I genuinely believe this is awesome. The world of the future will at least have AI components, and Demis Hassabis and DeepMind have a record of actually trying to help humanity. Just think of AlphaFold! So, I get why you guys are sceptical. Hell, I'm currently in the process of removing Google apps from my life. But a new AI campus? Sounds amazing.
