@raynerlucas@mastodon.social @Foritus@toot.dusepo.co.uk won’t the net effect be that people get wise to its bullshit and start to ignore it, whereupon the ‘old’ and trusted support systems will regain their position? Meaning a lot of money disappeared into the pockets of ai vendors and their acolytes, with only an embarrassing legacy project to show for it. Which they then quietly and unceremoniously retire in ~5 years’ time.
