@jupiter@mastodon.gamedev.place @shana@mastodon.gamedev.place This one still half applies, I think. I see "sigma(n=0)(∞)" as syntactic sugar for "lim(u→∞) sigma(n=0)(u)". So the inner sigma itself still works as a for-loop (separately, for each value of u), but obviously you can't solve the limit by just iterating hard enough and that's where it breaks down.
