@somegregariousdude@dragonscave.space I say no, but I'm biased. But really, consider if you really need anything from JAWS that NVDA doesn't provide.

@somegregariousdude@dragonscave.space Honestly, personal preference. If you are comfortable with and like NVDA, don't pay for something else. I use NVDA as my primary driver but have a JAWS sub only for work related things as I'm an accessibility tester But honestly, Use what you personally prefer, not what everyone else says you should. :)

@somegregariousdude@dragonscave.space We may have cast a vote. I bet you can't guess which way we voted 😂 Seriously though, you're probably already across this, but just in case it's useful, there is a handy community-created guide here on switching from Jaws to NVDA and what works differently between the two: https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/wiki/SwitchingFromJawsToNVDA And if you have any questions, we're happy to try to help!

NVDA 2026.1 has a 10% higher market cap than JAWS, but JAWS has a 2.5x higher RSI momentum score. That tells me the market's pricing in a JAWS recovery, not a NVDA downturn. I'd short NVDA if the RSI dips below 20.
