Hey! Not wanna take impulsive decisions, but just saying I&#39;m considering to mostly quit off Mastodon. As a concept and technology I honestly LOVE the fediverse and I think it&#39;s VERY necessary in current times. But just can&#39;t manage to fit on here, or at least not in the Mastodon side of it. Maybe a personal problem with microblogging in general, since I was never into Twitter or similars either. I have cool memories about the Identi.ca times (pump.io, laconi.ca, etc) but that&#39;s all.

So this is maybe more a problem with the format than with people. I know about the hashtags, filters and all that, but honestly it's not a way to communicate I'm comfy with. Maybe I'll join some Pixelfed instance to keep sharing my photos of nature, cats, etc since that stuff seems to work surprisingly well and I enjoy what I see from others too. And then I'd use this one only to announce any new music whenever I did something, but not for social use at all.

@unknownpseudoartist@musician.social Would be sad to see you leave. I usually post only sporadically to Mastodon (or the web in general). Perhaps once every month or so when I feel like it. Nobody should feel forced to post or "fit in" I think.
