@secretsloth maybe i'm old school but i think you need a good working definition of something before you can seriously pursue it

@ana I also just feel like computers work differently from brains? So even if they achieve sentience, they would just be different? I guess I don't understand the obsession with comparing all other intelligence to that of people as though humans are *it.* there are tons of animals out there and they're intelligent, and they're just living their best life out there. We still don't understand their minds. Why do we assume we would understand this any better? Why can't it just live its best life?
