Here's a thread about the instrument that I now think of as my main instrument. I originally built it in early 2003 so it is coming up to 20 years old. It is a solid body #electricGuitar like instrument, but it originally had 5 courses (pairs) of strings tuned CGDAE (although DGDAD and DADAD also work well) When I built it I would have called it a 10-string electric irish #bouzouki. Here's what it looked like in 2003.
