@deewani Oh, thank you! Of those, I would pick the mole. I don't have a garden, and as a whole my back yard is pretty barren (and, sadly, mostly covered with landscaping cloth). So not likely to be a gopher. If it's a ground squirrel, the burrow entrance would have to be in an adjoining property. Or under the rosemary, maybe. But the dirt under a long-standing bird feeder might be a good buffet for an insectivore.
