Got kicked off Medicaid at the start of the month, because I was making too much money. Oh well, that's kind of a good thing, because it means I can get insurance through the Marketplace. The alternative was getting kicked off because I wasn't working, which would have meant I could NOT get insurance through the Marketplace. The new plan is one of the best I've ever had (other than Medicaid, which was free and paid for EVERYTHING). No deductible! No copay for my PCP! $10 to see a specialist, $5 for urgent care! No referrals required! Only $2,200 out-of-pocket maximum! And all the medication I take is free! And dental and vision coverage! All for about $95 per month out of pocket.
