The maths: - I pay 8c/kWh for EV charging at home. Origin deal, they control charging time and pause it during peak times (causes no drama to me) - car uses 150Wh/km on average. - not included in the above, a few times a year - school holiday road trips - I have to pay public charging rates. On those trips, it can cost as much as $10/100km or about 6L/100km. (It’s always less than this because I leave home full and return empty) #EV
