Y'ever think about the folks who figured out cinnamon. Some prehistoric Sri Lankan guy being like "really, bro, just trust me, this tree is delicious".

I wanna research early cinnamon cultivation and trade now but I'm already late to work. Apparently it was a hype trade good in Egypt and the Levant going back to like 2,000BCE
