@KlavsKlavsen no they do not. Most packagers on these distro are also people doing it for free and having zero thing to enforce.

@Di4na but if enough pay for Ubuntu, or contribute to it (we do 95% open source devel on our own, and PRs for upstream projects we use), then Ubuntu can afford to pay developers atleast. Funding every upstream is difficult and is probably best done through a central org, like a distro
