@julian yes, knowing when to turn off expertise is a hard thing for many.

@nedbat @julian yep. I'm better about it than I used to be, but when I get in "the zone", where I get excited about the systemic relationships across space and time... And then I forget to check in and realize that the person I'm speaking to is looking for the exit. Systems are beautiful, but not to people who don't find systems to be beautiful.
