I'm always going to be one to tell you that ascribing someone's awful behaviour to pure stupidity or carelessness rather than evil is very probably correct, and i'm forever banging on about how stupidity and cowardice often stretches much further up the chain of command than you would care to guess.
But there is a point somewhere high up there in the power structures of civilisation where stupidity and incompetence itself becomes a wilfully malicious action, and conspiring to install an embarrassment like this woman into the US supreme court is well past that point. If indeed her presence there isn't just a premeditated humiliation ritual in itself, claiming libtardery and diversity fetishism after the fact (i.e. incompetence and carelessness in your vetting) doesn't absolve you of guilt for conspiring to get her there. You know how important the role is. You know there is no excuse for using anything but merit to guide your decision, even if you squeeze a little bit of partisanship in alongside it.
Its the same bullshit we hear when some impulsive chimpzilla with six gorillion prior arrests smokes some innocent bystander and the courts deem him not responsible for his own actions because he has the IQ of a toddler on maximum screen time. It is EVIL to let that primate swing free from the courtroom. You are not any less EVIL for being indifferent or intellectually incurious about his predilection for chimpouts because when he was babby monke he grew up with no banana :(
At that point you are being stupid on purpose for IRL Reddit Gold, which is just malice by other means.
