Listening to people talk about the stock market is like listening to people talk about which animals they think clouds look like. Except if they guess the animal most people are thinking about, they get the money equivalent of several lifetimes of hard work.

@morten_skaaning@mastodon.gamedev.place To be successful at the stock market you have to be a hipster. You have to always be able to say "Yeah, well, I bought them before they got famous". I'm more like... I buy them when they're super popular and then I stick with them even when they're no longer mainstream.
