I was there for my best friend when she came around from surgery. Thankfully it wasn’t a major surgery. It was so delightful seeing her be so unapologetically happy. She kept forgetting I was in the room with her… And every time she was like “oh hey!!! So glad to see you” she swore undying love for the nurses, who couldn’t stop giggling.
